DIABOLICAL BOX DUN DUN DUN~~~
I've been waiting for Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box to come out for so long and after losing a lot of sleep and playing this game for 19 hours I'm finally nearing the ending. and gosh I'm so tired and I need sleep but I'm really excited because it means NEW CHARACTER INTRODUCTION TIME~
Okay, Here’s a creepy old castle, a creepy old butler who has the voice of Igor from Frankenstein, and where is our pretty not so old Duke? Door opens. There he is! And oh my. The cover art does him no justice.
-INSERT LONG CUTSCENE OF ANTON BEING PRETTY-
Seriously, the only thing not girly about him would be his voice. But Im sure the localization team just wanted to make sure that the fans know that he really is a boy. Oh well time to go to bed.
-INSERT BALLROOM CUTSCENE-
So as the lovely couple dances I’m thinking if being attracted to Anton makes Sophia, the pretty girl he’s dancing with, lesbian or not. Then suddenly SURPIRSE VAMPIRES!
Layton’s dream ends along with the cutscene to reveal to us Bondage Master Anton. But luckily for Layton and Luke, Anton plays right into that dumb blonde stereotype. Seriously who locks the bloody door with puzzles? In fact that’s how Anton locks everything in this castle. And with a sliding puzzle and one of those open/close valve puzzle, hell I would be out of there in two seconds.
Luke wants out but Layton being the proper English gentleman wants to put his and his young apprentice’s lives on the line. Why? Because damn it, we did all the bloody puzzles and we are not turning back now.
“Oh my would you look at that portrait of Anton over there. It’s looks very pretty too old. You know what Luke this remind me of a puzzle.”
“But professor now isn’-“
-PUZZLE TIME-
“Very good Luke. But I suppose that maybe this wasn’t the best time for a puzzle.”
So does this mean that he realizes just how ludicrous these frequent intervals of puzzles are?
‘Sup Katia How is it that you can look exactly like your grandma? Oh that’s right I didn’t conveniently forget everything that your dad said at that crazy old town when he asked me to persuade you not you get on that train.
“You must leave before the madness gets you too. “
Despite the fact that she just suggested that mental illness is contagious, that explains a lot. If I’m thoughts are correct the reason Anton thinks he’s a vampire is because he’s insane. Insanely pretty.
