*Giant round of applause* Cause you rock!!! I don't know anyone who could ride in the conditions you said of, because they sound incredibly difficult, but you did and I think it's amazing ( ... )

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your experience with us. It really is an incredible event and I'm so happy for Patrick that the Challenge and the Center get all this support from the community and beyond. And I'm so happy for you who managed to get in your "Thank you". Cudos to Erin for paving the way by all her talking LOL

It was really nice meeting you, Susan, & Beth this weekend! You did a wonderful job on the 50 miler. Kudos to you for sticking to your commitment even with the heinous weather conditions. You are a rockstar. So very happy you finally got your moment to speak with Patrick and thank him for TDC. YOU deserved that moment. Looking forward to TDC 2013!!!

You are so awesome, Diane. And you've been a great inspiration to me to find my passion for health. I enjoy biking, but my true love is swimming. However, I owe it all to you, girl, for helping me get back into regular exercise. It was hearing stories like this one, and the joy in your voice, that did it. I love you, lady, and send hugs--see you soon--your Aunt Sheri

Though I have lost weight over the past 12 months, I am still about 100 lbs over weight for a woman who is only 5'5" tall. I'm working to change that and recognize that I have a long climb still ahead of me, but if I can do this, I can do that. The event itself, the people at the end of their driveways, the folks cheering at the top of "Puke Hill", they helped put the event into a bigger perspective. I will be back next year with a bigger ( ... )
