I loved it all, but this was one of my favorite parts: “She's my best friend. She's my hero. And I really love her.” I can so picture Derek saying this, even to a random patient.

My other favorite part was Derek finally feeling the tiny kicks! His reaction brought tears to my eyes. It's so sweet how smitten they are by the baby, and how Meredith is so sure it's a girl. Her mommy instincts are in full swing!

LOL, thank you for having April leave, too. This has been a dream of mine since she first showed up way back when. If only it were real!

Another great update! Already looking forward to more!

What a treat to find a new chapter so soon after the last. I will try to keep commenting to help cheer you on to the finish line. Loved the scene with Mark - I miss him on the show. And, hallelujah and good riddance, April!!

Lovely chapter, as usual, with lots of very good and cute and sexy/porny stuff. I admit that I had a few difficulties with the flashbacks this time. Not with the flashbacks itself, those were great, I mean, hello sex and Baby's kicks. But the whole story of Derek's day at work felt a bit disjointed to me because of it. Nonetheless, the content of flashbacks and chapter itself were awesome. And I'm surprised myself, but I have to say it again: The way you write Mark (and Lexie) makes me miss them on the show.
