I really liked the recent episode of Korra, the first series made me think that bending was zomg-super-awesome but this new one is showing how people that take advantage of their bending can affect the lives of non-benders.

Yeah, I like that they're showing a different side of something that was presented as the Best Thing Ever in the first series, but I'm a bit concerned about the way they're handling the bender/non-bender conflict. I have faith that it will improve as the series progresses, but at this point, they've shown this conflict as a thing that exists but are weighing heavily on the side of the benders and showing the anti-bender movement to be sneaky and nefarious. I suspect that's because that's how Korra feels about the movement. I just hope they show more of the non-benders' perspective soon because I think the fact that neither side is right or wrong in this conflict is the most interesting thing about it.
