BTB -- your Hugh Laurie crack was so on-target. Made me laugh for a solid minute. You put into words what I've always thought subconciously, but had trouble identifying why a bitter Hugh failed to impress me.

Did you know that laughing for a solid minute is good for the soul? ;-)

I had no idea #5 would be such a tough nut to crack.
I guess that these days, no one expects to see *him* on TV.
(Was that a clue? Maybe ;-)
Truth is *his* exploits have been far more throughly demonstrated on TV than on film.

So no to 'The Pretender', Di-- and you're right 'immortal' is the key that doesn't fit there.
In all fairness, Dark Angel is a great answer, so good you made me logon to IMDB and check it out. But alas, only 'femme fatale' is a correct plot keyword.

And for the record, MariKenobi started this 'pop quiz' and I am not repeating here any of the shows she used. So icksnay on 'How I Met...'.

Anyhoo, this has given me an idea for a new 'guess the top 10' 8D

Now see -- I haven't seen any of those shows so it'd be no dice for me. Hmm. & here I thought I was fairly well rounded when it came to my pop culture. *sighs* Mmm, just for kicks -- I might have to do this. Have to give it some thought.

Good choices tho, Ari! Muchya impressive!

Knight & Firefly were my "obscure" choices, to be sure.
I think I was one of like 3 people who watched them. ~sigh~

#5 was an attempt to creatively hide the obvious.
Did you know that Ras always calls Bats *detective*? ;-)

#4 I thought was a shoo-in!
Charlie, Alan & Jake -> Womanizer, Divorcee, Immaturity

Well done.

There was no excuse for me not getting Firefly, none whatsoever. *is shamed* but the other ones I don't know. I think I need to watch more TV...

Not familiar with Knight or Firefly -- BUT I *did* know you liked Firefly -- it was on your 'recap of the year in visual' on your LJ awhile back (but wouldn't have connected the keywords).

Kudos on the cartoon -- Batman would've been rather more obvious if I'd thought about animation as well as live action. *shakes head* & of course -- prequal -- duh! (& extra points for getting a 'double quote' in.) Somehow I get the strange feeling the nickname 'detective' is going to emerge in a fic somewhere -- if it hasn't already.

& 4 -- I've only seen 'Two & a Half Men' a couple times -- but I cannot believe it didn't occur to me. I'm slapping my forehead now -- especially since I was so amused by Jon Cryer's 'melancholy divorcee' character on the show! Still -- to be fair, I made my guesses WITHOUT checking keywords on IMDB just to see how close I'd get -- so I didn't cheat! *blows raspberry*

Mine are up now. I think I found some good ones tho. *grins*

We have a complete set! ariadne_elise April 14 2007, 04:14:38 UTC
4 and 5 were for you anyway, Mari. *Especially* #5 ;-)

You get extra brownie points for figuring out Knight & Firefly.
I looooved, LOVED those two... but I know you didn't. So I've talked about 'em that much, eh? ~LOL~

anyways... Knight and Firefly took me a while b/c I really didn't watch FK and for Firefly, I was thinking BSG, but then she doens't watch that, kept thinking of lots of shows and then went, ooh wait Firefly that was a war thingie!

See, I listen!
