So we made it to New York for Thanksgiving without incident. Phew.

But last night we went to see the Dr. Who 50th anniversary special. In a theater ! In 3D!

No spoilers, but it was vastly entertaining--so entertaining we didn't even mind having to sit in the second row because it was entirely sold out and get cricks in our necks while the 3D ( Read more... )

Oh, I didn't post about it yet, but it was so much fun to see it in a theater! I didn't know about the extras at the beginning - hilarious.

Strax and the popcorn was great ! But the whole thing was so much fun--and such a kick to see it in a packed theater. Were there a lot of people dressed up where you were?

I'm so glad it cheered you up! It was a blast. I expect I'll see it again on a small screen, but I was happy I saw it on the big screen first!

50 years on and it can still delight!
