For my AU Penelo-centered story that I'm trying to write the first chapter of . . . So much planned for it, so very many plotbunnies that eat away at my brain, BUT OH, I CAN'T DECIDE WHICH PAIRING TO GO WITH!!1

I mean, Basch is a perfectly fine character and god knows he could use a little more happiness in his lfe. But... er... I don't really get Basch and Penelo together. He's just a bit strum-and-drang for someone so sprightly and basically optimistic, no? What would they... talk about when they're together? O.O

Buahaha, XD I love Basch, he reminds me of a Teddy-bear . . . I don't really know why, HE JUST DOES. XD I can see him as someone who is very capable of being optimistic . . . maybe not like Penelo, all sunshine and hopefulness and cute . . . but . . . I dunno. XD I can't really explain it.

I can picture them having conversations . . . about inner stregnth and forgivness and happiness . . . I know Penelo's mostly a happier character, but I can see her with a solemn side too. Not too serious, but . . . I dunno, insightful. I can picture her and Basch talking about stuff like their pasts.

That could be just me, though. XD

Hmmm... now that you put it this way, I definitely can see it working. And there's a few good fics up at Fanfiction.net that pair Basch together with Penelo. If that's where your heart leads you, I'd still love to read the results!

I'm still rooting for you to write Larsa/Penelo though. ;)
