i heard that the bronx zoo would actually be a significant entry point ( to find out if it had come in ) because of all the captive birds.
pigeons, mostly, but a month ago i was out on the west side piers, watching a flock of canada geese. As they were passing over the pier I was on, one just dropped out of the sky, dead.
