Ok. someone asked for a commission from me on devart. I've never done a commission. I don't know the first thing about charging people money.. i draw for fun :/ So... Just tell her you meant those prices for no background pieces. Misundertsandings happen, I'm sure she'll be fine paying more for your work, it's worth it. Also, ask her if she has reference pics by other people of those characters.

For prices, I suggest just guesstimating the amount of hours you think it'll take you to finish the art and what wage you wouldn't mind working for. That way you won't start hating doing commissions. :P

Yeah, I just realized I'm not in such a bind.. I worded a paragraph to my advantage and it sounded like I was charging $65 for each piece. So I'm only charging her a few dollars extra for anthro and detailed bgs. I'm hoping she's still cool with that.. otherwise I just won't do it :/
That's a good idea about guesstimating. It's silly, but I've never actually sat down and counted how many hours I spend on a piece and how that would translate into monies x__x I guess this will be a live and learn experience for awhile. Thanks so much for the help :D <333
