oh wow, way to up the ante. Great work continuing the story and lovely to see Sherlock being a BAMF. I loved the flashbacks too. Oh and loved the blackadder reference! Great chapter as always.

How could I resist a Blackadder reference? :)

I'm not particularly comfortable with action scenes, but one of Sherlock's more unexpected traits given his otherwise geekish behaviour is his ability to kick some serious ass when the mood strikes him - so I thought it would be nice to see that in the story. (in addition to trying to incorporate everything from the video, I have a mental checklist of stuff they do on each series which I'm ticking off as I go along - Sherlock beating people up, House referring to hookers, Sherlock naked for no apparent reason...)

Loved House being House and going (back) into the dangerous situation, and so being able to see Sherlock being a badass. Loved the heart to heart in the car. Hope that Sherlock will be alright. :-)

Thanks! I can't see House being as good a fighter as Sherlock but I thought he might like a bit of action (until someone tries to shoot him, that is). And it would take Sherlock being at death's door to get either of them to have a heart to heart... of sorts. ;)
