I’m just as intrigued as he is to find the answer!

Thank you very much for the comment! Sherlock is a little out of sync with John's mood but yes, there's a reason he came back. The story has ended up cut up into little chunks so I can keep posting rather than keep everyone waiting. But Part 3 will be up sometime later this week. :)
