I have just written a resignation letter.
I am handing it in tomorrow.
This is wonderful. -
I used to be a writer.
I used to write. I wrote science fiction, chick lit, teen drama, poetry, fan fiction.
I just wrote. I would sit at the computer for hours on end and write. It didn't matter what it was, or how it sounded. I just put down word after word after word.
I started when I was very young.

I had a total Old Lady Moment today.
I was driving with Mark and we had Gold FM on (the Classic Hits station) and they played Bitter Sweet Symphony.
That song is only 11 years old! Am I really starting to fit into the "Classic Hits" category?
Ahh, it was horrifying! -
Happy New Year
My neighbours have been partying since about 7.00 last night.
It is currently 4.22 pm.
It was 41 degrees this morning.
That's hardcore. -
Knitting Blankets for the Lost Dogs Home
When this hot weather chills out a bit, I am going to start knitting blankets for the Lost Dogs Home. I am planning on knitting lots of coloured squares, and attaching them, to make a few blankets to donate.

Yesterday was Alyce's 21st birthday. She had her party at the old Grand Hotel in Essendon, and after the party, Dad, Mark and I went home and walked down to the Quiet Man on Racecourse Road.
I love that pub so much. It's not like a lot of Irish pubs that looks the part but attracts newly 18 year old drinkers. It's managed and staffed by Irish ( Read more... )
