Sunday I went to my first catholic mass in many, many years. I think the last time I was in a catholic church was when my nephew Levi was baptized. Well, this past Sunday Levi had his first communion. Thats a great icon for this post. :) I sometimes relive some of my frustrations/hurt when I go to my parents church, but I normally enjoy going to catholic services. Mainly because all of the ritual they do is sort of relaxing to me and I enjoy looking at the architecture.

I enjoy the services more now that I don't have to stand/sit/kneal 1000 times. The rituals and bad singing are good too. Oh, and I love the part where you shake hands with people next to you.

Funniest thing ever was when Dana and I went to see my nephew in a church play. We sat up front near where they keep the wine, and he leaned in and said, all excited, "All right! They've got liquor cabinet!"
