New jewelry thing: hairpins!

Since I was sharing a booth at Birka with Hairstory, I tried out making a whole pile of different types of wire-and-brass-decorated hairpins. They seemed to go over well -- I sold about half a dozen at Birka (and they looked great decorating actual people's hair) -- and I've added the currently available ones to a new hairstick/hairpin section on

Would you ever consider doing hair clips/barrettes? My hair is too fine to wear hair pins.

Sure! Clips/barrettes don't really stay in my hair, so I don't know much about what type is good. Could you point me at a sample clip/barrette type (maybe on Amazon?) that you think would work well? I'd be happy to get some and prototype. Let me know what sort of designs you would like to see and I'll give it a try.
