{{hugs}} don't feel too badly. I didn't have a boyfriend at any point in high school. I had several in college. I'm not sure why things changed suddenly and remember being a little bewildered about it. There's lots of time. Most people I know didn't know their b/f, spouse, or significant other until after High School anyway. So it's entirely possible that you will be meeting Mr. Right very soon :D

Ari, I lamented about this a lot when I was in HS too. Don't worry about it. I didn't date until I got into college, and then I *really* should have been single more often than I was. To be honest, I think women (including me for too long) define themselves in terms of having a man in their lives too much. When I finally said "who gives a fuck" and decided it was OK that I wasn't going to find a "life partner" then I metmy husband and it took him 4 years to convince me that marriage was a good thing to do. BTW, your sister's problems would be no better if she had a bf, which you seem to suggest. She'd just have a screwed up relationship on top of being disorganized. :/
