I felt so bad writing that last line since it's kind of a breaking point for our favorite little orphan. :( I'm sorry Luke, but it had to happen!

(Oh God, I gotta keep coming back to this fanfiction.) Luke definitely put up a struggle to get to where he is today... And I love how he himself is loving each puzzle that he does, and just seems so motivated to solve each one. Even though he's got the goal to become Layton's apprentice, I love how you show him visibly enjoying himself with each puzzle, I really do. ^^

Though part of what's making me come back to this fanfic are also the struggles he goes through... I think a lot of people in this community just want to see him through this. XD But yeah - a good place for a breaking point. (I feel rather sadistic for saying that) But I'm also curious as to whom Professor Layton has chosen and why...
