Adventures in "what were they thinking?"

The electricity in our entire apartment runs through four 15-amp fuses. I just figured out that one of those fuses, (i.e. 25 percent of our unit's electricity) runs one outlet.

No. It's on the kitchen wall furthest from the window.

Maybe large appliances? Microwave? Toaster? Etc etc!

Maybe, but it's poorly placed for that purpose.

How old is the kitchen, and could it have had the refrigerator in that corner when they first built it before someone changed things around N years later?
