Man, now's about the time that I wish one of my free-thinking Obie bubble friends was sitting next to me with a gigantic mug of hot chocolate, ready to discuss the ridiculousness that is spreading across the face of our dear planet in the form of controversy over mohammad cartoons...our world is falling apart.

have you heard about that iranian paper's call for cartoonists to draw them some pro-holocaust cartoons? great. leave it to iran to help defuse a tense and violent situation...

Yeah, I did. i love how countries that I will call "extreme" for the sake of diplomacy, and "little children" because that's how they've (perhaps more accuratly their presidents) been behaving, love to blame absolutly everything on Israel whether or not israel is actually involved. To my knowledge Israel had no stake whatsoever in printing a picture of mohammad with a bomb for a turban (given their current situation being next door neighbors to Hamas, I would think this is an action that would be considered more than stupid). Nor am I sure that Israel's relationship with Denmark excedes anything more than normal neutral policital...oh bother.
by the way, I'm not a zionist, i just think that before Iran goes blaming the israel they should take into account the fact that the offending countries are primarily protestant.
