OE, email

So, OE isn't behaving. Or Ambition isn't behaving. Or perhaps both.

In any case, what do people use for non-web-based-email other than Outlook or Outlook Express?

I use TheBat since time immemorial and never had any complaints about it.

To be honest, I havn't found a nice desktop email client that I like(Thunderbird included). I ended up simply forwarding all my email to a web based system like gmail or yahoo. However, if you really do like the two pane outlook based view, go Thunderbird, or in a little while, Yahoo mail.

Yahoo! has web based email forever. They are planning on upgrading the interface to be much more interactive(drag and drop, ajaxy interface, hotkeys, just like outlook express pretty much). This just came out tonight so I can say this without getting sued, the new email client will have RSS functionality.

I'm a little too lazy to look up screenshots of the actual thing in action, and don't want to make any of my own for other reasons, but it's works pretty well.

I quite like the stream of news stuff for RSS. I currently forward all my personal mail to my Yahoo account. I do have complaints about it, but most of it stems from it's interface mirrors current desktop applications too much. This for many however, is a big plus.
