I don't get it -- help please

When I burn a CD full of Data MP3s, sometimes my MP3-CD player says "no disc" after I put that CD in. Any ideas why?

[I'm using WinXP's native burn - didn't find a copy of Nero for this machine, maybe I need to do that. And they're Office Depot CD-Rs, but some ODCD-Rs are working]

I had the same problem with my laptop. Sometimes the lasers aren't compatible I"m told. Bring it down and we'll see if I can read it on my computer.

do you put wmas on the cd? my mp3 cd player doesn't read any WMAS so if i accidently put them on my cds instead of mp3s it won't read it

Good catch. I'm going to have to take a look at the CDs that aren't working.
