It's very much spring, and also very much housing rental season.  So, to make their apartments look attractive, all of the housing management companies (which, in this area, seems to be one giant company) are planting blooming pansies and daffodils on every corner of their available property ( Read more... )

Don't feel bad. It's triage at least you're not the one using their pretty little flower bodies to sell apartments. Also I'm glad the primrose has a little more company. It's been two weeks? It feels like forever and yesterday.

I still want a rooftop garden and our christmas tree has at least made it out to the fire escape, but Dimitri's garden store which would've been my dirt and daffodil source moved out of the neighborhood. *tear* So I'm not sure what I'm going to do now...

ahh--I do hope you'll get to develop your rootop garden despite the loss of the neighorhood gardening store... Perhaps you will be able to start small and let it slowly develop? That way you won't have to carry too much flowers/dirt around at one time.
