There is an ANIME, about a guy, WHO COULD SEE MICROBES.

In the first episode they showed at least 5 different types of fungi and make a reference to (how you are not supposed to wear) open toed shoes in lab.  It's (&#^*#& hilarious.

GoogleMaps bestowed street view on Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.  Now I can see photographs of my house, and my apartment building, and it's clear that these photos were taken recently.  This freaks me out a little bit, but it's kind of addicting, too.

I never understand why authors bother dropping extra information about their characters outside of their written work, but I guess this at least justifies some of the fanfic.

It is dermatology week: my tolerance for grossness has never been challenged so much.  I think I have flinched over 30 times in the past three days, but a morbid fascination (as well as a tomboyish desire to not be squeamish) compels me to keep staring at the various slides...
