It had been weeks since we first became a couple. everyday filled with joy. The next month was so perfect and i felt like nothing could have made me feel better than being together with him.
It was now October 20th. Tomorrow was going to be such a special day.... it's been a month since September 21st. That means our 1 month anniversary! I'm so nervous! My phone started to buzz on the coffee table next to my bed. It was a text from Minho!

Just kidding! it's been a month since we started dating! What do you wanna do tomorrow to celebrate?

Nothing much! Lets just spend it together in the school's soccer field where all the honeysuckle flowers are. It'll be like old times =D

So we'll spend tomorrow like those old days! It'll be so much fun... just you and me. I should make him something too! I'll go over to Amber's house. She can help me think of an idea!
It was a crisp day. For once in my life i could feel that pure bliss of happiness. Like I'd finally found happiness. Like I had finally found that one special person. The one just for me. Running to my cousin's house for advice.
I was outside Amber's house and I knocked hard on her door. I heard the door unlock and the door cracked open and she peered through the small opening of the door.
"Oh Taemin! Why are you here all of a sudden? Come inside!"
"Thank you Amber! Oh i'm in conflict with myself over what to do!"
I Sat down on her cream colored couch in the left side room of her house. she locked back to the door then sat down next to me on the couch near the window.
"What's conflicting you though?"
"Tomorrow is me and Minho's um.... one month anniversary... and i still don't know what to make him!"
"That's just adorable! Tomorrow's also Geng's Birthday so i have to make something as well...."
"What could we make?"
Amber made a puzzled look then got up from the couch and started to dig through the closet in her hallway. Did she think of something? She came back over to the couch with sewing needles, string, and fabric.
"We can make them pillows!"
"That would be good! I hope they'll like it!"
We started to cut out the shapes of the pillows in the fabric. We cut out the shapes to sew onto the pillows right after. Amber looked down as she started to sew then she started to speak.
"You know, things haven't been all that good between me and him recently."
"Hm? Why?"
"Geng is always talking to me about other girls. They're both my friends but now it's making me hate them so much. I can't stop the jealousy."
I remember telling her that day "It'll be fine! things will fix! Don't worry about it. " I learned that was a lie. and not from her, but i had to learn it the hard way. To believe that two people who seemed so good for each other, what looked so perfect was just an act hiding the flaws.
I had finished my pillow. It was green and had blue stars on both sides with polka dots on them. I I held the pillow tight to my chest and whispered to myself
"I hope he likes it"
Amber's was purple with a smiley face on one side and sad face on the other.It looks so funny! Don't laugh! Don't laugh at it!
"Hahaha! Your pillow is bipolar i guess?"
"Oh shut it! I like it!"
"No no, it's really good. Well i gotta get going back to my place now. School's tomorrow and so is our anniversary. I'm so scared!"
"Stop worrying so much! Minho will love it!"
"Thanks so much Amber. I'll text you about it later! Bye for now!"
I ran out of my cousin's house and headed for home with my pillow in a bag. I wonder what his plan is for tomorrow? Since it's Minho, In know it'll be good! I was soon outside my house so i unlocked the door and headed inside. I ran to my bedroom and placed the bag with the pillow on my table next to my bed. I got changed into my blue pajamas and then went to brush my teeth. Then i turned off the lights and took out the pillow from the bag and held it in my arms again.
"A month hasn't been that long. I wonder what it will feel like after a year?"
I closed my eyes and tried not to be nervous. My heart was filled with joy and i remembered I have his heart, and he has mine
~Next Day~
My alarm woke me up at 6:30 as usual. I wasn't tired at all because i was too excited. I got dressed in my favorite pair of black skinny jeans, Red and blue striped polo shirt, and black converse to finish it off. I grabbed my school bag and the bag with Minho's pillow then headed out the door. I told my mother goodbye as i shut the door and made a run for school. My heart was beating fast as i entered the classroom. I saw Key, Jonghyun, and Onew hyung standing by my desk with smirks on their faces. Key came up to me and looked me in the eye with a mischievous I'm-going-to-interrogate-you look.
"So~! What's your plans for Minho later? You know what i'm talking about Taemin!! Whats in the bag?"
"Well you know today's our 1 month anniversary right? So i made him this!"
I took out the soft green pillow with the blue polka dot stars on it and gave to to key to look at. Onew and Jonghyun hyung gathered around me and started to touch the pillow when Onew and Jonghyun started to speak.
"You made this one your own?!"
"Woah Tae! You stitched this?!"
They both looked astonished but proud and then both kept squeezing the pillow before giving it back to me. Jonghyun looked me in the eyes.
"I know he'll love it Tae."
"Yes he will Taemin! It's perfect! He wanted us to remind you to meet him in the court yard this afternoon after school ends! What will happen is going to be a surprise though!!"
"Oh! It sounds like fun! I wonder what he prepared... He's just too sweet!"
It was a really good day, I remember i ran outside as soon as that bell rang and i looked everywhere for you. I gotta little worried at first but then i felt arms hug me and i knew that you were right there. It felt so good to be loved...
"Oh Minho! I've been looking all over for you!"
"Well i'm here now. Now lets go sit by the honey suckle shall we?"
We climbed up the hill, and walked over the soccer field. We sat in our usual place, the place in the shade under the the trees near the silver wire fence. Wild honey suckle growing off the bushes in the back. It was like old times. back then, we would always sit by this fence and watch the sky, play with the weeds that grew by the fence and talk about everything that made us happy, sad or how our day was. Whenever I came around he would instantly talk to me. He was the first Person in the world who wouldn't leave me alone and go with anyone else. He made me feel like i was actually wanted. But now those days have passed , and now we're lovers. Minho spread out a long checkered blanket onto the ground and we sat down. He pulled out a pan and looked at me.
"I made these just for you. I hope you enjoy these sweets!"
I peeled off the silver foil from the top of the pan and my eyes lit up with happiness. He made me brownies! Heart shaped ones! I wonder how they taste! I took a bite out of one and smiled after tasting the sweetness of them. These are the best sweets i've ever tasted!
"So, how do they taste?"
"These are delicious! I love them!"
"nothing but the best for you!"
"Now i need to give you my gift! Although it's not as good as yours! bu-"
"If you made it, then i know i'll love it. So don't worry ok?"
"Well if you say so!"
I hesitantly took out the pillow from my bag i handed it to Minho and then shut my eyes tight, i was dying form embarrassment.
"This so adorable! How'd you make it?"
"R-really? All i did was cut it out and sew everything together."
"We'll i love it. Now i have one more thing for you."
Whats else could he have gotten for me? He really didn't have to go to all this trouble for me! He dug his hand into his bag and handed me a silver box with my name on it.
"Well open it!"
"O-ok then!"
I opened up the silver box and found a silver necklace with a heart shaped pendant attached to it. It's so beautiful! He did it all for me too... The pendant glittered as Minho looked me in the eyes.
"Here, let me put it on for you Minnie!"
He took the silver necklace and undid the clasp on it then put it around my neck. He closed the clasp and pulled my long hair out from under the chain. He hugged me from the back and i heard him say in a whisper you're mine from now on.
That day was one of the best days of my life. It was if time had stopped just for us in that moment. Everything was perfect. The clouds lazily floating in the sky, complained by the smell of the wild honey suckle.
After Being hugged for long, i finally said something to Minho who was still gazing up at the sky with me in his arms.
"Um Minho?"
"Hm? What is it Minnie?"
"I know it's a bit early to say this but..., Can we please stay like this forever?"
