I suppose I wasn't technically defeated in anything, but I did not make it on to the Trial Advocacy Team at school. I gave a closing argument, was asked to come back for an interview, did the interview, was denied. Question: If my closing argument was good enough, what was the reason for the denial? Personality? Did I talk religion too much? Dang I

Man... I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with religion. There's a lot of discrimination against Christianity, simply because it excludes other beliefs in an (postmodern) era where all beliefs are held as valid.
