It's that time of the year again...
Have I grown up since the last one?
Shit, man.
I think I really have.

I'm in such a different place now, it's mind-boggling. Especially since so much hasn't changed at all. Things have...normalized. (As much as they possibly can, anyway.)

Everything is ok, thanks. Just...insanely busy! I've been keeping up with your journal and though I haven't had a chance to comment, I'm really glad you're settling so well into your life in sunny CA!

Oh, and that actually is the whole sign, lol (how anticlimactic, no?)! It just says "Cookie Man..." on top of the cookie and "Pro Life??" under the cookie. But to see it completely after so many years...well, I was excited anyway, lol.

And, wait, there were other people there with us, besides the Daves, while we were drinking wine that night? I thought it was just the four of us, the Arby's commercial, and Dennis Leary. I must've been really out of it.

Thanks, babe! The restaurant was FANTASTIC. Great wine (LOTS of wine, lol), amazing food...I started off with this mushroom tart and finished with duck & veggies in sweet and sour sauce. Delicious! I only wish we had room for dessert, lol.
