God I am such a 20th Century Canadian Lit novel... I read 'grain' and I start scanning the picture for grain silos.

I like the photo. Also, according to Math I am going to be visiting in about 5 weeks!

I'm thinking of the redeye on Friday April 3rd, showing up on the Saturday in the morning. I was going to stay to the 13th (Easter Monday), because of the way holidays work up here (aka I'll only have to take four days off). The alternate option is to fly the 9th and go back the 19th. Depending on the Mets' schedule, I am thinking of going to the Philly THC this year, so I could spend some time in NYC around that too.

Hey, if your finances are tight I'd be happy just sitting in a corner bar drinking cheap draft and watching the game on a crappy TV behind the bar. Being at the stadium would be fun, but hanging out watching a game with you is the primary idea, no matter where we do it... :)

NO IDEA. erin and i had gone to see the largest sculpture park in a healthcare setting (tm), only to find no statues. we were driving off the hospital campus, totally defeated, to try and find burritos or some other vegan-friendly treat, and erin looked over and saw the lady statue waving. she was beckoning us to what looked a lot like the sculpture park graveyard! there were all these old pieces (you see the pictures) all cluttered together like someone had junked them there. we decided she was a beacon. i don't know if the mcdonald's cup was part of the installation, though.

What camera are you using? I'm really liking the results.

a canon powershot a590is. i reset the white balance but didn't mess with the exposure settings. i really like this camera. i made it a little grainier/contrastier/warmer toned in iphoto but that was it, nothing too major.
