Well, first there's Salt. I LOVE salt. I can't describe Love, it's just real deep love for salt. The oddest thing with salt (to me) is beer, especially light beer. I should try it with a Guinness sometime too...

Second, I'm digging oregano. I like it in my scrambled eggs. I'll have to experiment this week on some other dishes...

Italian mix is my fav by far. But if I'm looking for a simple thing to spice meat, especially chicken, it is lemon pepper. It is also good on Kraft mac & cheese!

Salt, pepper and bay leaves. I find that really simple is often more of what I am looking for. :-)

honey. specifically orange clover honey, it tastes the best in foods. i use it in bbq sauces, pasta red sauce, dribble it on sandwiches(pastrami rocks with honey) dribble it on frozen burritos. oddest thing it works well with is macaroni and cheese. cook the noodles really firm, drain and add butter and honey, then mix in the powder and add pepper and maybe a pinch of garlic powder.

another favorite spice is tamarind.
