There's lots of people who have no problem unleashing their aggressive dogs at the beach. I guess they're in denial about their dogs. It pays to be a little wary, though I tend to watch Kaya's reaction to the dog before making my own judgement. She's pretty good at letting me know by whether her hair is standing up or not.
Kaya and I go almost every morning, since I live practically across the street. Next time you go it would be fun to join you.
