So goooooodd! Layla has healed from her being stomped on by another dog, and after about three years, I finally know what has been making her limp. She has an untreated old fracture on the fourth bone in her paw. And as floating bone fragment in there too. Nothing to do about it now, but it's nice to know. Dude, love to hear about Layla dong better with the limping. That explains it alright! ...so she got stomped by another dog? I hadn't heard about that. Been too wrapped up in personal life and new job etc etc etc...
SWEEEEEEET about the board you're getting! I've always wanted a longboard that I could noseride. I'll totally have to hang out and ride with you sometime after I get a new deck and whatnot (yeah baby! I may not get out surfing much anymore, but I have this nice freshly paved road outside Lex's place to ride on. Street surfing!). My old board is from the mid 80's. Yeah, it's O-L-D and so I don't trust it anymore, but it used to be my brother's and has been through all this shit with me so I hang onto it for sentimental reasons. Ahh good memories.
I'm glad you're doing excellent again! I hope to talk to you soon.

Yeah, Lexi, Austin's 80 lb doberman, stomped on Layla's foot by accident and she was not putting any weight on it for two days. The vet said it was not broken but just banged up. I can imagine having my foot stomped on really hard how much it would hurt. Ouch!

Nevertheless, the x-ray showed an old fracture and floating piece of bone. That is probably the injury that has always made Layla limp. Now we know she doesn't have arthritis, just an old untreated fracture. Poor girl. Fuck those pervious owners! I'm so glad she is mine now. Or I'm hers. :)
