Being a gay man who lives in Texas, I have to say Thank you for that lovely statement. You've put into words the feelings I have had for quite some time now.
Thank you, edenskye. I'm glad to know there are others who feel the way I do and who see the future I do. It's the only way that future will come about: those of us with that vision working together to make it a reality.
Where in Texas are you, if you don't mind my asking?
I live in a surburb of Dallas called Plano. It's about 20 minutes north of Dallas. I've been here for 28 years now. I lived in the Houston area when I was a kid for a year. The town was called Alief. My sister lived in Sugarland when she was married to her first husband.
BTW I'm reading the second book in the Partnership in Blood series and I am loving it.
Nicki, my frequent co-author, is in Plano, so I know exactly where that is. I applied for a teaching position in Alief before taking a job in North Forest, and I lived right outside Sugarland for ten years. Now I live in Pearland.
I'm so glad you're enjoying Partnership in Blood. I'm working on the penultimate book in the series now.
