I think you made some very solid decisions, and I don't think you should be second-guessing yourself on this stuff. You and Sean are great together, and I think you would be really unhappy if you didn't stick with him. As for genetics, there is a reason why you decided to go with English and Political Science, and not genetics. Maybe you thought it would make you happier, and from what it sounds like, you enjoyed reading all those books and learning about communism. I mean, I don't know much about all of the decision-making that went into all of these processes, but you made these decisions for a reason, and it sounds like they made you happy. You liked your education at Cal. You love Sean. You like California (I think?). Don't regret the stuff you gave up in favor of choosing happiness
