Random observation: My favorite letters are A and S. The A may be blamed on my name; as for the S, I have no idea why I like it, I just do. 1/5 of my stories on fanfiction.net have titles starting with the letter A, while another 1/5 have titles beginning with S. The most any other letter initiates are 2/25 of the stories ("I" and "R", very ( Read more... )

Good luck with your research paper!

See, because my name starts with A, I actually rather dislike it...complete opposite of you. I rather like M, B, and G. I always fall for guys whose last (or even first) names start with those letters, and usually "David" is somehow in their name as well (or part of a name, like Davidson), and they like to play drums...this applies to at least four or more guys, by the way. XD;;

See, for me it's like "how can you hate the 'A'?" Uppercase print A--nice and authoritive, stands on both legs. Uppercase cursive A, very simple but elegant. And both lowercase 'a's are just cute--cursive is like a little baby letter and print 'a' is like a studious grade school child.

...okay so I just have issues, obviously. XD Anyways.

David is a nice name. Although...it's kind of odd that you've fallen for 4+ guys who've met those criteria! What are the odds, huh?

I admit, I do like the "A" in my first name, because it is capitalized, the way it looks...I write a really neat signature. XD; *wants to believe this anyhow*

Let's see, I have "liked" guys, or rather, been drawn and attracted to, rather than actually "fallen" for, so no idea why I said that. Maybe because, at the time, I did think very fondly of them. Um, I actually was with a David that played bass, a complete moron whose middle name was Bryon...yup, he didn't meet the drummer criteria. Then there was Kendall, who was a drummer, but I don't know his middle name, and...yeah. He didn't quite meet it either.

M. Davidson was a drummer. Brett David B. also played drums. I know there was one other one...damn. Anyway, the one I actually loved was David G. who also played the drums... >.<; Ooooh! There was Kris...crap, he had a common last name and I forgot it, but he also played drums, I just don't recall if he had "david" anywhere in his name and whatnot...XD ( ... )

Heheh, that's kind of interesting your favorite letters are A and S. I do love the letter A... and I used to love the letter C. I guess I like lots of names that begin with A... most especially Alice. :P

I know how it is to not even want to buckle down and do anything... especially with homework. Why do you think we don't want to do these things? I've thought about it a lot... and I wonder if you'd have any thoughts about procrastination. Heh, I sound like a planner for a self-help book. :P I have one from a long time ago when I used to buy into the whole self-help nonsense. I think there's a chapter on procrastination. I'll go read it and see if I find any interesting insights. :P (self-help books always provide interesting insights... but always make me feel guilty when I can't control my emotions like they say I should :P).

Although I thought it was really odd at first, I think miko was right when she said I'm a perfectionist. You wouldn't know from looking at me; it only affects my writing. I have a hard time putting the words down, even on virtual paper, until I feel that they're "right"--I know I'll have to edit a bit, but I have to be certain of the overall flow. If I'm not then I let it stew in my brain some more. It's usually not a huge problem until there's a huge paper due that I don't know how to write. I have the same problem with writing fanfiction. I get ideas in my head and I want to write about them, but I'm worried I'll choose the wrong POV or something and mess the entire flow of the story up.
