"50 Moments in Alex & Rachel's Lives"

The plain silver band glinting on her left hand was the prime reminder of why she'd left Angel Island.
2. Hero
"Alex, I am not worth dying for, no matter what else you may believe," Rachel cried, holding her wife closer.
3. Memory
She wouldn't dare admit, to Alex or anyone else, that she could no longer easily pull up Patrick's voice or face in her mind.
4. Box
Tugging at the laces, Alex couldn't get the gloves off fast enough so she could go find and ravish Rachel senseless.
5. Run
That the normally strong, self-assured psychiatrist chose flight over fight instincts both surprised and aggravated Alex.
6. Hurricane
How in the hell was it possible that Katrina devastated everything in Her wake, but Mama Rose's home stood intact in the middle of all that devastation?
7. Wings
Alex was happy that Rachel had chosen to let her hair grow a little longer; it left lovely patterns when she carded her fingers though the lust-dampened locks.
8. Cold
"I think I could get used to these desert nights," Rachel purred, snuggling closer to Alex under the blankets.

Until her dying day, Alex's favorite color on Rachel would always be the flush of arousal.

The best mead is the mead lapped from your lover's body.

In the dead of night, Rachel's dreams turned sinister as visions of Not!Connor killing Rose filled her mind.

The very thought of Alex spread out, bound, blindfolded, and covered in drizzled honey like Sara currently was had Rachel salivating like a bitch in heat.

With a devious smirk, Rachel got Rose to send her stuffed cat flying by Alex's feet, knowing her love would have to bend over to pick it up.

Alex awoke to the soft strains of Mozart wafting in from the den, smiling at the thought of other things Rachel could be doing with her hands.

The kimono was a very decadent gift from Alex only considered a good friend from her youth.

Alex sat very still for Zo, knowing the paint splashes on the canvas would delight Rachel immensely.

"I'm never going to let you fall, love," Rachel murmured fervently as she lend her lover tightly against the throes of passion.

"But, Alex, he was here," Rachel whimpered, clinging to her lover as she tried to shake off the nightmare.

Alex sucked in a breath as the wax splashed in random patterns across her skin.

"Where the hell did you learn to do that with your tongue?" Rachel gasped.

In the pre-dawn hours of the desert summer, Rachel found solace in her lover's arms.

As the plane rose into the air, Alex took one last look at what used to be her home.

Desire licked across her nerves until she burned with need for her lover.

"Of course, you can handle this, love, you've had two children," Alex coaxed, gently pressing her hand inward.

Dace knew Alex was running interference in an attempt to let Rachel regain her composure.

Alex shivered at the sensation, desire trickling down her spine in the wake of the melting water.

Even twirling Rose around to make her giggle, Alex moves in ways that drive Rachel to distraction.

Rachel's kisses pepper across her lover's swelling abdomen as she fervently reassures that Alex is most certainly not fat.

The body certainly is a temple of the soul, Rachel thinks as she worships her lover.

Rachel stares after Alex, watching her stride tiredly through the terminal toward a destiny that doesn't include Rachel.

"We could go anywhere and get away from the damned Legacy," Rachel argues, trying to convince her lover to leave the Legacy.

"Wear this for me?" Alex asks, fingering the deep burgundy silk she found buried in their closet.

Their lovemaking is bittersweet and marked by a frenzied heat that cannot be quenched.

Rachel had no idea that teaching Rose how to blow raspberries on Momma's tummy would turn Alex on quite so much.

It if meant a lifetime of virtual babysitting, Rachel would give Alex the time she needed to mourn.

"This," Alex teased, slipping the ball gag into Rachel's mouth, "is to make sure you can hear my commands."

Rachel knew that getting upset would only keep her from finding the journal Alex had painstakingly created of their family.

"No one is going to help us rebuild our lives but us, and I'm not about to give up," Alex murmured, digging into the rubble.
45. Eclipse
Rachel never expected to have the bright, hot love she felt for Connor and Patrick dissipate in the face of her adoration for Alex and Rose.

Alex's barely suppressed giggles chased away the heaviness of Rachel's anger as the tomato sauce dribbled down the front of her expensive blouse.
47. Highway
Alex happily soaked up the atmosphere as they wound their way around the ribbon of road hugging the coastline out to the Point Arena Lighthouse.

"We'll never know what we're meant to do until we do it, Rachel," Alex whispered, pleading for her lover to reconsider.

Rachel never could get over her lust for Alex's hair, especially when it separated into those lovely silky ringlets.
