I love Terry Jones. Obviously, his message seems a bit polemical, but there's nothing wrong with that. In any case, I'm going to draw and quarter the next person who mentions the "Dark Ages." Hang, draw, and quarter if they use that term to refer to anything before 1500.

I really don't want to start rummaging around under my bed. I know who's under there. They're waiting, the roaches, and they know that it's their room now.

Thanks to new information, there have been some changes in next year's schedule that allow me to stay within my credit limit (i.e. not have to pay extra) while still being as challenging as possible. It bothers me how left-wing critics so often make comparisons of contemporary American culture to an image of the "Dark Ages," with barbarians running around flinging axes and burning each other at a whim for the duration of that unfortunate lapse between the shining Roman Empire and the wonders of 15th-century Italy.
