Heh, I had AP English last year, with Mrs. Eaton. She's Jewish, so the God thing wasn't a big deal. =B But anyway, we started out reading lots of crap from the textbook as well. But after each story/poem/whatever we would analyze it and stuff.
World Religions with Mr. Beach. THANK YOU JESUS FOR THIS CLASS. Mr. Beach is one of the coolest teachers in a very long time. Maybe it’s the fact that he sings my name, or that my fondest memory was of him spitting on a map of Japan and calling it a tsunami, or that we’re looking at religion in an objective, intelligent way. I love this class. It’s genius. I can’t wait until I can get up and explain my odd mix of Buddhism and Christianity. I want to watch the bible-

I suppose I wouldn't have too much trouble with English if we did actually analyze the lituerature, but instead, we answer questions out of the book that follow the story. Questions like "Would you have liked to have known John Smith? Why or why not?" -_-;;;
