It's surprising as I became more dedicated I became less good at Philosophy and better at Linguistics. So basically this tells me don't do another philosophy unit, they're bad for you. [Adverage: 76.6]

(Ooh, it now says completed. I'm excited.) Oh, the reason why there looks like there's some units missing is that I started another degree and they don't count the mark from the units you get awarded points for, they just count the marks of the new units.

Hrm, sometimes I wonder if I should have just put in more effort. Because things really weren't that hard. But I have to say, getting a HD in Australian Aboriginal Languages was probably completely due to my wikid essay. Which implies, I think, that I shouldn't do my Linguistics Honors here and find some University which does social linguistics. Because, really, that's what I enjoy and get impassioned in. Usually after these essays (I've written two) I'll be angered about something. For example I think we should have bilingual education. But that might only be because I've read so many papers linguists have written. No one seems to write a paper if they wants things to stay the same (though I wish they would). Well, having so many different languages in Australia makes any education hard (but should be no excuse, because it's been done etc. I have some ideas, people should invite me to a summit ^_^).

Anyway, so I'm thinking about looking into honors over East. I do believe I should do the sort of course work that I'm doing here which isn't related to Social Linguistics, it's related to real Linguistics that I know I need to do (but don't want to). However if I did my paper on Social Linguistics I would need someone to actually mark it, and I'm not sure who would be my dude... Okay, it would probably be John, but he doesn't have that much background in this thing (he's more Forensic Linguistics which is awesome, but you have to be good in your field before you can be that, and I'm not sure if I would like the research, unless reaps wants to come to another country with me, which is in the cards, but not HUGELY).

When I have enough money I am going to save for reaps's anniversary present. It's going to be expensive, but it's also for me, so it should be okay. :P Anyone have any good ideas for places to go? I really suggest Faulks House if you don't like your money and you do like good looking houses and beds and scenery and massages and delicious breakfasts. I really enjoyed it and playing with some kind of marsupial. We should actually probably go somewhere he can go fishing, he would be so happy.

Okay, I'm pretty cold and I have to decide between doing some exercise or knitting. I'm a bit worried knitting will win. But it can only keep going until I've finished this hat. Hrm.
