Fuck self portraits. It is too difficult to pose and then use a wireless mouse to click a tiny button on a laptop to take a photo (wireless triggers are too expensive for me, and the cables aren't log enough). Also, when the battery power runs out too quickly, and for some reason saving photos becomes harder/takes longer (since it's not saving it ( Read more... )

Forgive me if this is a newb question, but... Why can't you just use the timer function on your camera? Mine even beeps to let me know when it's going to take the photo, so you know when to strike your pose!

I like the way your hair disappears into the background! Is that a lighting or photoshop trick?

Also I can't imagine how cloning out your boobs would ever look normal, I think cropping is the way to go! :P

Because I took 189 photos, and walking around my camera in the dark (the light outside is yellow and would ruin the photo and light the background) is not fun to do 189 times. Even then, you can set the camera to do 3 photos in succession (I'm not sure the extent of this, you rarely want more than three, and you rarely want 3 photos of the same thing with pauses between them), but even then walking around really expensive equipment 63 times in the dark = not fun.

It's the lighting, it was meant to show up, since it was so pretty I wanted to document it in a pretty way. But black background and one off camera light is not enough to give it definitions. :P

Oh, cloning/most photoshop altering is only good if done well. So yeah, I'm not very good at it, since I chose chopping and not the artistic way.

;_; I look ugly when I try to smile (or I think I look ugly when I smile, maybe because of childhood hate of photos, or I am ugly when I smile :P).
So I only made ridiculous faces. :S

They do this thing, where they spray hair spray onto a tissue and then wipe it over your hair. It puts the fly-aways down and makes it oh so shiney!
