It feels strange to review a fic that I beta'd, but I have to say that the grammar was much improved, Arinna! The Carnival setting has really sparked your creative fires, and I agree with you that it's a comfy setting. Peter seems more desperate and lost in this fic, suffering over the loss of his brother. And Claire is so loving and caring towards him, and knows that she is the only one who can take away his pain. I love the trailer as a setting for the love scene, since it allows for intimacy and privacy. The smut is hot, as usual, but always erotic -- not vulgar. Well, maybe a little.........hee hee

Ooooh, i liiikkkkeee this :D The carnival seems to be your favorite setting, i recall another paire fic that was set here :P

one line that struck me the most in character was;

“He was the important one! He wasn’t supposed to die! It should’ve been me! I’m nothing! I’m just a…”

it is SO like Peter to wish his own death over his brothers. *cries* i love the emotion here and the bond between Peter/Claire. Im really looking forward to their scenes. The smut was HOT even if i did feel it was a tad bit forced, but thats just me... :P i enjoyed it anyways. :)

Hey, hun! I'm glad you liked it. You know why I'm glad when you liked one of my fics. "blush" And yeah, about that line, I just imagined Peter. It is so in his character to say that. If you remember, there was a scene in S3 when Peter and Nathan argued in a jungle. Peter decided to sacrifice himself and to safe Nathan. That's why I thought that he would say such a words now. Especially now!

Thanks for the smut! :P You know I love to write Paire Smut. I hate the angst as a general, but this fic just screamed angst! And I really love that song. I wrote the fic just by thinking of it.

I was in angry mood,'cos of 2 things:
1. I couldn't post the fic as it's right in about 1:30 min! Can you inagine? "pouts"
2. Some person, thoughts of Paire in YT. She/He obviosly had seen the last scene and... yeah, you know the Paire haters. :p

I really loved your Peter in this, how broken he was at his brother's death, and I agree with commensense that he really would want to have been the one who died instead. It's just part of what makes the brothers so special *sigh*
