Hey, Seven Days sucks, too. Maybe not as hard as the BFP, but you should make fun of some Seven Days employees, just to even the scales.

Hey! I love Peter Freyne! But, well...I do make fun of Ethan Covey sometimes, but not to his face... it's hard to make fun of someone with the power to rip you a new one when reviewing your album. Did you see the review he gave for Dux the balloon man? Ouch.

I like Peter Freyne, too. There is some good stuff in there, but I have a hard time finding it amidst the metric assload of ads. And don't get me started on the Luxury car/SUV reviews they put in every issue, or their awful movie critic (Rick Kisonak -- I like the Flick Chick)... I don't know. It's free and it'd really suck not to have it, but I seem to remember liking it a lot more before they split it into two sections. Now I find myself most looking forward to the Red Square ads...

Then again, perhaps the weekly negative reinforcement of not being I-Spied has slowly, over the course of several years, turned me off to an otherwise exceptional publication.
