So the Day is now set for the Girl Dungeons and Dragons game I offered to run. Starting (hopefully) this monday we will all be meeting to play. I've made my own world, as usual. It's so much easier than learning enough about an exsisting one and telling the info to the players. --Derek

Yeah this has a CORNY start. But I thought it had a lot of great chances fo RP. The only problem I will have will be voices, I'm terrible at voices and tend to forget them in my normal game... And now I'll have to try to add a bit of female to the mix. Ohh well!

This land was like most other lands. It was lush with fertile land, seemingly endless forests, and lakes teeming with life. It had been relatively peaceful for almost ten years. No one had attacked the land, and the lands inhabitants had all been peaceful. The races had learned to live together without strife, they worked together, even lived in the same towns and cities.

Then 35 years ago that was shattered. One morning everyone awoke to go about their lives, the men to go hunting or plant the fields, the women to wash the clothing or start the cooking. The day was beautiful, sun shining, not a cloud in the sky. Then at noon the world suddenly went dark as if the gods blotted the sun from the sky. After an hour of almost total dark the sun reappeared. Everyone was unnerved by this strange occurrence, but they went about their lives, because what else could they do. As the day wound down, dinner was prepared and set out for the town to gather in the main hall and eat, but with one problem, none of the men came back from their daily chores. Now this wouldn’t be the first time some of the men had been late, but it was the first time all had been late. As dark descended the ladies took up torches and went in search of their men. When they arrived at the fields they saw tools left in the fields, plow horses still in harness, even a dead stag that had been field dressed. After hours of searching, they had to give up because they were getting nowhere and were running low on light sources. The next morning they resumed the search, only to still find no sign of what happened.. After they took stock they realized that all men were gone, without a trace Eventually the women moved on and learned to live on their own. They started to learn to hunt and farm, by the time winter came around they were able to sustain themselves. A few of the women from each town were pregnant before the incident, out of them two of the babies in your town were boys. These children are fervently protected.

The town that you are from is called Daladin. It is located in the middle of nowhere, so to speak. It’s population before the “incident” was around 200 people. The next nearest town is Zedrane, and is about 80 miles away, and was also gifed with 2 male children after the incident. The nearest city is vedlam, and is located 300 miles away, and was gifted with four male children. Your town does have a low ranking cleric that has tried to help the town keep it’s faith and provide healing to the injured, she has also taken on any who wish to follow in her footsteps. There are a few women that have some mage talent. But they live out in the woods away from the distrust most of the towns people have for them.

It has been 35years since the disappearance of the men, in that time you have had contact with other towns besides Zedrane and Vedlam, and they have had the same problem. And in the last four years it seems war has returned to the land again. There have been roving bands of goblinoids, and other savage species moving into the land and taking up residence near your town. But the biggest problem lately has been the large quantities of undead wandering around and attacking anything that comes close to them. Daladin has lost several women that were out foraging for food in the woods, to these invaders.

You are of the generation that was born to the survivors. Your father’s were each one of the babies born after the incident.

Yesterday one of the women of the town came running into the main hall. Her clothes were torn and she had many wounds, she was bleeding badly. She proclaimed that her 8 year old daughter had been kidnaped by goblins to the North of Daladin. You have been chosen to go and attempt to retrieve her.
