I have decided to make a bastard sword for fighting in dag. I looked around for different cores to use, was excited about the graphite tubes, till I saw the price. I then tried to find different sizes of kitespar, but didn't rememeber the best size for a longer sword. So I settled on getting 2 poles of 505, and I'll splint the core(cut one in half

I know it'll turn out ok. I might ask Miah for a price to have him latex the pommel and hand guard, just to make it look better. I'll make sure to kill some one for you, but by laws of the Silver Hawks I have to demand a payment of candy! :)

BTW... I still have the attempt of ours at making you a sword. Are you coming back this summer that we can try to actually finnish it for you or should I just scrap it?

I'll be home for at least 2 weeks in May. Beyond that, I have no idea, so we'll have to see if we can make some progress in that two weeks.

ok, Then you need to decide what game the sword will be for, so that we can learn the rules for it and make it apppropriate. It's pretty easy to make almost any modification, as long as you know the end result required.--Derek
