So, we withstood Irene... and the remnants of Lee are about to wash us away. Fortunately my house is safe (we are up a hill), but the river behind our house which goes under our road is in full spate

*HUGS* Thanks hon! It's not as bad for me as it is for a lot of other people. :( The flooding has definitely been horrible.

Ack, good thing you're on a hill, but horrible all the same. Some RL friends have been hit hard in their area too, it's look like they're about to be flooded for a third time. They moved in the weekend before it happened with two kids and twins due in a few weeks, so I can't even imagine.

:( I feel bad for your friends! We are lucky that we haven't flooded, but there has been a lot of bad things around here lately, what with earthquakes and hurricanes and floods. :( I hope your friends are doing all right!
