I was supposed to see a supplier yesterday but I have dental appointment, so I arrange for the chief designer on the project to see them, which i know is mostly my fault because I didn't remember the appointment before I book the dental one

Sigh....oh well...work life is a bit like that I guess...

Communication has become a bit too easy and immediate -- and impersonal -- with email. People are much more likely to snap out a snippy email than they would be to say the same thing in a telephone call or in a hard-copy memo.

At least your suppliers are all happy now; and so, apparently, is your boss. That's the main thing. As long as the boss is happy, things will be fine.

I need to learn to shrug it off with an "oh well, work life is like that," myself.
