You can add to the last part that just because someone is comfortable talking sex, that does not mean that they will sleep with you. Just sayin'. ;-)

I think, because friends are closer, we give them more lee-way. Just like we usually give even more lee-way to "family" than we do friends. Part of that is friends know us better. They know the lines that are okay to cross and those to avoid. But part of that is a responsibility on the friend's part to realize when they have crossed a line, step back, and apologize. Without having to be goaded into it.

Passive/aggressive, though? Yeah, that has almost no place in any relationship. Be an adult.

I like two other comments from Spitty's journal: Just because someone has the same interests as you does not mean you automatically want to sleep/play with them. And just because you are friends with my friend does not make you my friend. It does not make you automatically accepted. We still have to get to know you just like everyone else.

I think we are expected to accept our friends bad behavior, in exchange for them accepting ours when we behave badly.
