Today topped 95 degrees... but now... there is a silent thunderstorm cooling things down. The rain patters and the lightning is lighting up the entire sky... but the thunder comes only every once in a while. ooo... like just now...

...at least i got one more Paris rainstorm.

I'm a little jealous. Remember that storm in Cape May, when we sat on the hotel porch and watched that amazing storm? Far from silent. It was supposed to be our beach rest time after New York. That New York trip was what you've been talking about, a "working vacation" with museums, public transportation, lots of walking, in the HEAT. I was completely exhausted after our first trip to Paris, which is why I enjoyed our time there with you when we concentrated on cafes, parks and neighborhoods, having done the museum must sees before.

Feel free to lie around the house when you get back. But you have my permission to take over cat box duties.
