I was in Sweden and Finland last year. We took the overnight ferry between Stockholm and Helsinki.

I used the subway (err it is a subway, i think?) in Helsinki! It was pretty easy to navigate.

Unfortunately I am not very helpful. However! Sweden and Finland are made of awesomesauce.
