just got my CONFIRMATION EMAIL for my europe trip!! BOOKED AND READY TO GO. Tentative trip schedule is as follows:

October 14th, 15th: Copenhagen, Denmark
October 16th - ???: Sweden

November 11th: Bologna, Italy

One of my favorite sights in Europe are the churches. The buildings are breathtaking. In Copenhagen, this was my favorite. :)

oh god rest assured, as long as I have any say in the issue it will be all churches, all the time. I am bringing a 16 gig memory stick and nobody is telling me otherwise!!

Europe! Italy!! So envious, that looks like it would be the most amazing trip ever. Prague is supposed to be gorgeous; my boss came back from there ranting about architecture and cheap beer. Are you traveling alone? *_*

I am crazy about both!! So I would really like to go, it just depends on what would be easier for us. We're kind of going in a loop at the end of our trip, from hungary up to slovenia, so IDK if we can work prague in..... (let it be said I REALLY WANT TO GO, though)

If you head to Germany, I would strongly suggest trying to get to Bavaria to see Neuschwanstein Castle.

Also, the Hague.

Unfortunately we're not going to be in Germany.... :( The farthest west we'll be is Italy and Denmark, which are our first and last destinations. Know anything in eastern europe?

Hmm. The Peles Castle in Romania. Will you be there?

Bucharest in general, but the Palace of the Parliament in particular. If it were me, I'd scour the city for Vlad the Impaler...

Yep we're going to Romania! I should check out the Peles castle, I do love me some castles. Hahaha and we're trying to go for hallowe'en, for a big dracula-themed day!!

Lyon is a nice city! How into World War II are you? I really liked their Museum of the Resistance, partially because the Resistance movement in France really fascinates me. Other than that... idk. Florence?
