Nngh this, everything! Timeskips are like my favourite thing -ever-. And there was no reason for Watanuki to go back to wearing his glasses, except that it would make me fucking melt.

I know right, especially timeskips to ambiguously (or in this case, blatantly obvious) gay futures where one of them is a drug-addled layabout and the other is a serious and dedicated student who looks DAMN good in a suit.

I also love that they probably did it because it looked believably close to his school uniform which, besides yukata, is the ONLY thing they ever draw doumeki in besides cover spreads (seriously clamp where is our cute boy's casual outfits??) Ugh but yeah they explained something about the glasses in tsubasa? I wasn't really paying attention. HOW IS THAT YUKATA STAYING ON, I MEAN REALLY.

Drugged out Watanuki is a bit of a twist, what with his low alcohol tolerance. But an awesome one gosh. I'm loving Doumeki's rumpled look- too busy being a student and looking after Watanuki?

And arghdammit, I gave up on Tsubasa around volume three and I knew I was missing something (like... everything? Wait, what the hell actually happened.) but I am only in this for the for Doumeki & Watanuki so no complaints.

I know. I kind of hated them for a while there because of Tsubasa, but this was just. NICELY played. God I love holic's art, the drapey yukata and the climbing tendrils of smoke are just my favourite.
