Spent yesterday afternoon in a comfy chair in reading room next to the old Philosophy Library with Dvornik's history of the Photian schism and Centuries of Meditations, neither of which were on the shelves of the old PL. are you referring to the Palamite controversy

well we missed you. and it is a very satisfying book
shop cum coffee shop just opposite the art museum
got doc smith 3 books , a merritt's dwellers in the mirage
louis lamour high lonesome and T Merton(a religious
writer I think) mystics and zen master. where will I
put them? when will I read them? these as you know
are secondary questions.
