Design Challenge Picspam

 I participated in a couple of challenges over at Living Sims Forum. In one, I was challenged to decorate a bedroom in royal blue, gold, and red (that really was a doozy as I don't often use primary colors together DX), and in the other, I simply created a room using a song as inspiration.

If you don't mind me asking, where do you find your clutter? I'm having problems finding anything that's not CAS related or furniture.

Hmmm, I just go to mysims3blog.blogspot.com and my favorite decor sites...a good place if you're looking specifically for clutter, though is Living Sims - they have a TS3 Finds section with various clutter threads. They link a lot to T$R, but there's always the booty for that. ;) I just get things along and along, really, since I'm so picky. I actually often feel like I need moar clutter, too.

You are so talented with decorating. Everything is this perfect blend of your usual style even if you are unused to using the chosen colors usually -you can still tell this was done by you. I love how the colors are merely accents to the style & do not overwhelm like it so often can do. That is definitely something I have trouble with -letting color take over & run things! LOL!

The most surprising thing to me was the picture you put above the bed in this shot, I would NEVER have done that & seeing you do it I am like ... WOW THAT LOOKS AMAZING! I struggle with making things too ~matchy! You obviously are not weighed down by such things! I am so in love with every single room you decorated!

I saved some of these images for reference next time I go on a decorating spurt! I hope you don't mind, but I just find everything you do so inspiring with the game & hopefully it will make me a better decorator :D
